Introducing Aurora and the Magical Toy Box
Take a tour of the resources and see how your school could benefit from the programme.
These resources are created by Aurora Orchestra’s team of world-class musicians and music education experts, working in collaboration with some of the UK’s leading designers, film-makers, directors and award-winning children’s poet Kate Wakeling. Bringing inspirational quality to the classroom, these resources are a treat for all the senses.
Everything you need to deliver the activities
These resources are designed to make life as easy as possible for busy teachers! The programme meets the requirements for:
- EYFS statutory framework
- KS1 National Curriculum for Music Programmes of Study
- KS1 Model Music Curriculum
Our SEND section is mapped against the engagement model and is designed to support individual EHCP targets. The programme can be used as part of a multi-tiered curriculum offer for pre-formal, semi-formal and formal learners.

Schemes of work
All of our programmes offer 10-week schemes of work you can follow. Presented as a sequence of beautiful films, recordings and visual resources which can be displayed on a whiteboard, these schemes of work are easy to use with all of the planning and preparation already done.
Activity and audio libraries
Choose from over 100 activities in our library and build your own programme or simply dip in to choose 5-minute music breaks whenever you want.
The audio library also gives you access to all of Aurora’s recordings made specifically for these resources – your pupils can listen to beautiful arrangements of well-known orchestral works or have fun with a wide range of loops and vamps which can be used for all sorts of games and activities.
Put on your own show
